Abstract

Anorexia Nervosa is the one of the eating disorders.  It characterized by an abnormally low body weight, an intense fear of gaining weight and a distorted perception of weight.  Living in a faux beauty world, those pop culture’s make most of the women uncomfortable with their body image. They have a constant pressure of achieving that ideal beauty. Due to this pressure, many women limit their food intake.  This research paper expounds on the background of anorexia nervosa and its causes.  This research paper will also create awareness about traces of Anorexia Nervosa which had started to spread in India.
